- Garden Build will take place October 15th from 9:30-11am.  Administration and local media outlets will be present  Build takes place in 3 phases (assemble, soil, plant). Garden is looking for hardy plants if anyone would like to donate plants for the install (garlic?)

BVS Fall Fest: Angela Cartechine will be contacting Tricia Miller to see if she or anyone she knows would like to participate in the event. Baskets are still being accepted for the basket should anyone want to donate one! Brittany Whalen will create a vendor application form for Angela to distribute.

Halloween Activity Night: Brittany Whalen confirmed that “Nick Presents Magic” is the magician hired for the event.  A flyer detailing the schedule of events will be sent out to students.

School of Excellence:  Initial surveys are being sent home this week.  A committee needs to be formed, so far it includes Brittany Whalen and Nicole Lauer. The committee should include 1-2 more teachers as well as 2-3 parents.

Homeroom Parents: Due to the district policy change regarding outside food in classrooms, there has been a delay in sending out information for homeroom parents.  Teachers are able to provide food for their classrooms, but parents may only provide individually packaged items.  Beth Piazza suggested possibly creating a classroom fund through PTSA for each class to help defray the cost on teachers.  Another suggestion was to collect a small donation from parents ($1-$2) when needed for parties. Nicole Lauer is going to discuss with other building principals to see what they are doing now due to the change in district policy.  Spirit Wear:  New order will start mid October It was suggested to have a spirit wear table at the Fall Fest event for people to see what is available.

Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at 6:00pm.
