Homeroom Parents:
Due to the district policy change regarding outside food in classrooms, there has been a delay in sending out information for homeroom parents.
Teachers are able to provide food for their classrooms, but parents may only provide individually packaged items.
Beth Piazza suggested possibly creating a classroom fund through PTSA for each class to help defray the cost on teachers.
Another suggestion was to collect a small donation from parents ($1-$2) when needed for parties.
Nicole Lauer is going to discuss with other building principals to see what they are doing now due to the change in district policy.
